This role is crucial to driving new sales for Broadridge solutions in the DACH region with an emphasis in the Capital Markets space. Selling to high-value, high-profile clients, this is a pivotal role within the organization given the growth within the region over the past 2 years.

This is a sell-side position predominantly selling to Banks, Insurance Companies, and other Financial Institutions.

General Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quota for the assigned territory.
  • Identify prospective new clients in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland via networking internally and externally, e.g., industry events, cold calling.
  • Manage sales pipeline and maintain accurate reports in Salesforce.
  • Manage the full sales process lifecycle, including initial contact, prospect qualification, presenting service offerings, participating in requirements/scoping meetings, responding to RFPs, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with legal, onboarding, and other teams.
  • Conduct business trips as required for sales meetings and business development activities such as seminars, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent industry knowledge, exceptional drive, and energy, with the ability to:

  • Build and execute viable go-to-market plans.
  • Work effectively with Broadridge Sales, Account Management, and Management leaders.

This position involves key relationships with:

  • Head of EMEA Capital Markets Sales
  • General Manager, Germany
  • EMEA Sales and Account Management team
  • Product Management teams for key solution areas
  • Global Sales Strategy and Operations team
  • Marketing

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Based in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Willingness to travel weekly.
  • Experience with Agency/Principal Trading, Post Trade processing, Asset Servicing, Securities Financing, SWIFT, and reconciliations.
  • Experience working within Capital Markets and Securities Services areas in Financial Institutions and Corporates.
