Engineering Plastics Division – Sales Account Manager (m/f/d) in Frankfurt
We are looking for a dynamic professional to strengthen our team as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Develop our Engineering Plastics business in the Electronics, Industrial and Construction segments across Western Europe
- Identify, develop and manage strategic customer relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers and component manufacturers
- Build a deep understanding of customer applications and market trends to identify new growth opportunities
- Act as the key commercial interface between LG Chem and the customer, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and long‑term cooperation
- Analyze market and competitor activities to support business strategy and portfolio positioning
- Represent LG Chem’s Engineered Plastics portfolio at industry events and customer workshops
Experience Requirements / Competencies
- Successfully completed degree in Polymer Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical field
- At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience in sales, technical marketing or application development of engineering plastics
- Solid knowledge of thermoplastics such as PC, PC/ABS, PBT, PA or related compounds
- Proven track record in key account management or business development within the E&E industrial or construction market
- Strong communication, negotiation and project management skills combined with a proactive, result‑oriented mindset
- Entrepreneurial personality with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrix and multicultural environment
- Excellent user knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Very good business fluency in German and English; additional knowledge of another European language (e.g., French, Spanish) is desirable
- Willingness to travel > 50% within Western Europe
