Amazon Gera GmbH is seeking warehouse associates in Gera to prepare orders for customers. You will select, pack, and ship items, using scanners and guiding prompts on screens to complete tasks accurately.

Roles include full-time and part-time shifts with fixed schedules. Candidates must be 18+, proficient in German and/or English/Polish, and able to meet safety and quality standards. Emergency transportation support is provided by the company.

Aufgaben

• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.

Jobbeschreibung

Starting September 1st, our entry-level wage will increase to €16.45

Salary

16.45€ gross per hour for day time shifts

Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 16.45€/h gross) and 24 months(calculated 18.31€/h gross)

Shifts

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles. Please note that not all shifttypes is always available, and availability may include the following:

Full-time shifts (30+ hours/week):

• Late: 15:00 - 23:45

Working week: Monday to Saturday (5 working days as standard)

Job Overview

Some of your duties may include

• Receive and put away inventory

You’ll also need to be able to

• Lift up to 15kg
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
