Amazon Gera GmbH is hiring for an entry-level warehouse associate in Germany. You will pick, pack and ship orders using scanners, and operate PIT equipment on a fixed shift schedule. Roles include lifting up to 15 kg and standing for long periods.

The starting wage is €16.45 gross per hour with a guaranteed raise to €18.31 after 24 months, plus a range of benefits and a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifikationen

• Willingness to perform physically demanding warehouse tasks.

Salary

16.45€ gross per hour for day time shifts

Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 16.45€/h gross) and 24 months(calculated 18.31€/h gross)

Shifts

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles. Please note that not all shifttypes are always available, and availability may include the following:

Full-time shifts (30+ hours/week):

• Late: 15:00 - 23:45

Working week: Monday to Saturday (5 working days as standard)

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services.You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders. Watch the video to see what the job is like at an Amazon Warehouse and scroll down to learn howto get started.

Some of your duties may include

• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training andcertification are provided free of cost.

You’ll also need to be able to

• Lift up to 15kg
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English/Polish, with the ability to understand and adhere to all jobrequirement and safety guidelines.
