Job summary

Amazon Workforce Staffing in Germany is looking for warehouse associates to handle order preparation, packing and shipping. You will use scanners, handle inventory, and work safely at heights with provided training. German and/or English proficiency is required.

We offer both full-time and part-time shifts with fixed schedules. Starting pay is 15.80€ gross per hour, with guaranteed increases after 12 months to 16.86€ and after 24 months to 18.14€ per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to understand and follow safety guidelines.
• Proficient in German and/or English and/or Spanish with ability to understand job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory.
• Get customer orders ready and pack them.
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment.
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products.
• Follow prompts on screens and perform tasks as directed.
• Troubleshoot problems to keep processes running.
• Ensure product meets quality requirements.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift with training provided.

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services. You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders. Watch the video to see what the job is like at an Amazon Warehouse and scroll down to learn howto get started.

Duties

• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
• Lift up to 15kg
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English and/or Spanish, with the ability to understand and adhere to alljobrequirement and safety guidelines.

Shift Details

We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles. Please note that not all shift types are always available, and availability may include the following:

• Full-time shifts (30+ hours/week):
• Early: Mon-Fri 05:45 - 14:30, Sat 10:30 - 19:15
• Late: Mon-Fri 14:30 - 23:15, Sat 10:30 - 19:15
• Night: Sun 19:30 - 05:45, Mon-Tue 23::45, Fri 23::00

Working week: Monday to Saturday (5 working days as standard)
