DUDE CHEM in Berlin is seeking a Robotics Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to drive Level 4 autonomous technology initiatives. You will integrate software across ROS2 pipelines, sensor interfaces, and middleware, while contributing to a certifiable system in Germany.

You will own PR review, CI/CD workflows, and build pipelines, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure robust Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in a robotics/CS/embedded field.
• 4+ years in robotics software, system integration, or embedded environments.
• Strong C++ in Linux and ROS2 experience, plus CI/CD and Docker familiarity.

Tasks

• Track the entire PR lifecycle, collaborate closely with contributors, monitor review statuses, and manage merge queues to keep our integration pipeline moving fast
• Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces, robotics pipelines, ROS2 packages, and middleware-related integrations
• Maintain branching strategy compliance, oversee issue tracking, handle tagging, lead release preparation, and champion ultimate repository hygiene
• Monitor and maintain our build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, coordinate quick fixes, and support our Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure
• Proactively identify interface mismatches, untangle dependency issues, and eliminate integration blockers across multi-functional teams
• Apply your understanding of hardware-facing software, communication stacks, and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and coordination

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments
• Solid development skills in C++ within Linux environments (exposure to C or scripting languages is a great bonus)
• Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflowsDeep familiarity with Git-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems
• A strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces).
