For a leading technology company in Munich, we are looking for a RF Test & Measurement Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities:

Test Setup & Infrastructure

• Set up, commission, and maintain test setups and the associated remote-control infrastructure
• Build, calibrate, and modify test benches, including Device Under Test (DUT) exchange and integration
• Upgrade and enhance existing test setups by integrating new test systems and expanding the overall test scope
• Ensure the availability and reliable operation of test equipment and measurement infrastructure

Measurement Support

• Operate RF measurement equipment for cellular communication standards in non-signalling mode
• Support RF measurement campaigns and ensure the quality, completeness, and plausibility of raw measurement data
• Document and prepare measurement results
• Analyse issues encountered during DUT investigations and identify their root causes
• Develop and implement solutions and workarounds for technical issues
• Integrate quality improvement measures into test routines, such as temperature chamber cycling profiles and automated test system self-tests
• Develop and implement visualization features for test results
• Develop and maintain test automation using Python scripting

Operational Lab Support

• Perform regular checks of test systems and identify malfunctions
• Systematically analyse and cluster error patterns to support root-cause investigations
• Coordinate with Lab Management regarding repairs, calibrations, and equipment orders
• Support instrument firmware updates and other measures to ensure the availability and reliability of test equipment

Your Profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF Engineering, Measurement Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
• Experience with RF measurement equipment and test systems, ideally in the field of cellular communication standards
• Practical experience in setting up, calibrating, and operating complex test and measurement systems
• Experience in measurement data analysis and systematic troubleshooting
• Good programming skills in Python and experience in developing test automation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured and hands‑on approach
• Ability to identify technical issues independently and develop effective solutions
• Proactive mindset with an interest in continuously improving test systems and processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
