Overview

A family-run fine-dining hotel restaurant in Bavaria with around 30 seats, characterized by outstanding gourmet cuisine, excellent service and an outstanding wine list with over 700 items and around 6,000 bottles in the wine cellar. The hotel attaches particular importance to a stylish ambience, personal service for guests and the highest culinary quality.

Responsibilities
  • You lead the service team in the gourmet restaurant
  • You are responsible for the organization and coordination of the service process
  • Planning and implementation of high service standards in fine dining
  • Shared responsibility for the wine list and supervision of the wine cellar
  • Participation in the design of the offer and the selection of food/drinks
  • Ensuring the smooth running of events, banquets and private functions
  • Management, training and motivation of service staff
  • Participation in weekend and holiday shifts as well as possible shift work
Qualifications
  • Completed training in gastronomy service, ideally with experience in the upscale segment
  • Several years of experience as a maître, restaurant manager or in a comparable position
  • Passion for wine and ideally training or specialist knowledge as a sommelier
  • Strong quality awareness and sense of style
  • Team leadership skills and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibility with regard to working hours
  • Reliability, organizational skills and a well-groomed appearance
