MyoPax GmbH in Berlin seeks a driven Research Scientist to develop hiPSC-based approaches for muscular diseases, bridging bench work to patient relevance. The role emphasizes experimental planning, execution, and collaboration across teams.
The candidate will contribute to translational research, with a strong focus on clinical relevance, GMP-aligned thinking, and cross-disciplinary discussions.
MyoPax is a biotechnology start-up in Berlin focused on developing novel cell and gene therapies for muscular diseases. We work to precisely address disease-causing mechanisms in muscle tissue and to derive therapeutic approaches that are clinically applicable in the long term. Our team combines scientific depth with a clear translational ambition and a consistent focus on patients. Our mission is to bring effective and safe therapies for people with severe muscular diseases into application. Our research must be reproducible, scalable, and clinically relevant.
For our laboratory in the Co.Lab on the Bayer AG campus in Berlin-Wedding, we are looking for a driven and scientifically rigorous Research Scientist who wants to build something real by bringing science all the way to the patient. You think in translational terms and feel equally at home at the bench and at the whiteboard. The focus of this role is the development and application of hiPSC-based technology for muscular diseases, with a strong emphasis on experimental planning and execution with clinical relevance in mind. This is a hands-on position: we expect you to develop the project at the bench as well as in a team effort with discussions at eye level.
MyoPax promotes equal opportunities and diversity. We decide solely based on qualifications, motivation, and above all team spirit. A gender equality plan is in place.
