Job summary

Technologiepark Uni Bremen sucht eine/n Forschungsassistent/in in Physik mit Fokus auf Quantenmessungen. Sie arbeiten im Labor an NV-Zentren, analysieren Daten und präsentieren Ergebnisse auf Konferenzen. Die Stelle bietet die Möglichkeit einer Promotion, individuelle Betreuung in kleinem Team sowie flexible Arbeitszeiten und Remote-Arbeit.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Physikstudium oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Interesse an experimenteller Arbeit im Labor.
• Erwünscht: Erfahrung mit optischen Aufbauten, insbesondere NV-Zentren.

Responsibilities

• Laborarbeiten im Labor, Datenauswertung und Darstellung der Ergebnisse auf wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen.
• Mitwirkung an der Forschungsgruppe Optical Quantum Metrology and Sensing bei aktuellen Projekten.
• Unterstützung bei der Dokumentation und Publikation von Ergebnissen.

Job Profile

• Research Group Optical Quantum Metrology and Sensing: We focus on novel sensing technologies based on quantum effects.
• Research areas include: NV-center magnetometry for medical imaging or space applications.
• Your responsibilities: laboratory work, data analysis and presentation of results at scientific conferences.

What you should bring

• A completed degree in physics (or an equivalent qualification)
• Interest in experimental work in the laboratory
• Desirable: experience with optical setups, in particular with NV centers
