Zusammenfassung

ERC System GmbH in Bavaria seeks a senior regulatory engineer to drive representation in standardisation bodies, draft and defend positions, and derive the certification basis for our uncrewed aircraft programmes. You will coordinate with engineering to turn drafts into contributions and liaise with certification authorities for compliance evidence.

The role requires deep experience with UAS certification standards, EASA processes, and ARP4754B/ARP4761A, plus a broad European network in UAS

Qualifikationen

• Have worked in an SC Light-UAS or Design Verification Report context.
• Bring EASA Compliance Verification Engineer experience.
• Know military standards such as STANAG 4671.
• Have an existing network in European UAS standardisation and association landscape.
• Bring experience with ARP4754B and ARP4761A.

• Represent ERC in associations and standardisation bodies shaping UAS certification standards.
• Comment on drafts in drafting groups and defend positions through the process.
• Track rulemaking and standardisation and assess implications for our approval route.
• Build ERC positions on draft material with engineering and turn them into written contributions.

ABOUT THE ROLE

ERC System develops uncrewed aircraft for certified operation, in a regulatory landscape that is still being written. This role is our presence in the standardisation bodies and industry associations where that landscape takes shape — EUROCAE, GAMA, UAVDACH and BDLI among them — in the working groups drafting the certification specifications, AMC, MOC and supporting standards our aircraft will be measured against.

You bring our position into those rooms while the text is still open, and you bring back what it means for us. Inside the company you turn the evolving framework into the certification basis our programmes build against, take part in the exchange with the certification authorities, and support the airworthiness team on compliance work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Represent ERC in the associations and standardisation bodies shaping UAS certification standards
