What you'll build

We are seeking a CoE Car Fleet Operations Lead (f/m/d) to join our Global Car Fleet organization within Global Procurement. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, efficiency, and consistency across our global fleet landscape by leading cross-regional operational and tactical initiatives. Acting as a key interface between regional teams, leasing partners, car manufacturers, energy suppliers etc. and internal stakeholders, the Operations Lead ensures seamless collaboration, proactive process improvement, and high-quality service delivery.

  • Lead and coordinate cross-regional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service and operational support across all countries, ensuring global alignment in daily fleet activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day global fleet operations, safeguarding service continuity, operational stability, and timely issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Head of CoE Global Car Fleet, ensuring clear communication, effective prioritization, and strategic alignment across initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with leasing partners, car manufacturer, energy suppliers etc. and internal stakeholders (CFOs, MDs, HRDs, Works Councils etc.) to strengthen relationships, resolve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor global fleet performance, identify operational risks, and proactively implement improvement or mitigation measures to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Support the development, harmonization, and implementation of global fleet standards, policies, and operational frameworks that enhance consistency and efficiency.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives focused on improving efficiency, sustainability, increasing digitalization, and elevating service quality within global fleet management.
What you bring
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional experience, ideally within a mobility- or fleet-related environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in fleet management, mobility services, supplier management, or related operational roles within an international or multi-regional context.
  • At least 3 years of proven people management experience, including the ability to lead, coordinate, and motivate cross-regional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities with proven experience working with leasing companies, car manufacturers, energy suppliers etc. and internal business partners.
  • A solid understanding of fleet-related operational processes, service delivery frameworks, and performance management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with mandatory fluency in German and English, both spoken and written; proficiency in French or Spanish is considered a strong plus.
  • A proactive, analytical, and improvement-driven mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, solve complex issues, and support continuous operational excellence.
