Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Germany seeks a data-driven Demand Planning Analyst to build accurate forecasts for multiple aggregation levels and to analyze historical trends. You will collaborate with sales, supply chain, and product teams to identify demand drivers and ensure reliable planning inputs.

You will leverage SAP/IBP, Excel, and Power BI to develop dashboards and KPI reports, lead regional Demand Reviews and S&OP meetings, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, demand planning, or supply chain.
• Professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis in manufacturing or distribution.
• Proficient in SAP/IBP, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong skills in forecasting methodologies.
• Ability to engage and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to collect data, research, and identify problems.
• Strong logic skills and good judgment.
• Ability to tell the story with data through charts/graphs and align stakeholders from shop floor to C-suite.
• APICS Certification is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation.
• Review and articulate historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data and monthly demand reviews.
• Determine when statistical models can be leveraged or human intervention is required.
• Develop new item forecasts.
• Interact with sales, supply chain, and product management teams to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Lead monthly regional Demand Reviews and attend required S&OP meetings.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate metrics, dashboards, reports, and KPIs to ensure accuracy and optimal results.
• Extract and integrate data from multiple sources using Excel, Power BI, SAP, and IBP.
• Use BI tools for ad hoc analysis and reporting; analyze data to support decision-making.

• Extract and integrate data from multiple sources using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SAP, and IBP
• Use Business Intelligence tools for ad hoc analysis and reportingAnalyze data to support decision-making initiatives
• Capture assumptions used and articulate impacts on the demand plan
• Research, implement, and drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes through collaboration with local SCM and Global DP and IBP Lead
• Partner with sales and global supply chain teams to build robust European demand projections
• Report to a global manager while operating with significant autonomy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Demand Planning, Supply Chain OR equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
• Professional experience as an Analyst in Sales, Business, or Operations analysis in manufacturing or distribution
• Proficient in SAP/IBP, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite system software
• Strong skills in forecasting methodologies
• Ability to engage and deliver presentations to stakeholders
• Strong understanding of Business Analytics and Reporting principles
• Strong analytical capability and demonstrated ability to collect data, research, and identify problems
• Strong logic skills with common sense approach and good judgment
