L‑Acoustics Group is seeking a Regional Application Engineer EMEA North (Install) to drive technically excellent installation projects. You will design, specify, and validate systems, oversee commissioning, and serve as a trusted advisor to consultants, integrators, venues and end users across the lifecycle of fixed installations.

As the Regional Application Engineer EMEA North, Install, you will support consultants, integrators, venues, and end users throughout the lifecycle of fixed installation projects.
You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver technically excellent solutions while acting as a trusted technical advisor within the installation ecosystem.
As a member of the EMEA North Application Team, you will be instrumental in enhancing market confidence while positioning yourself as a prominent technical ambassador.
Technical Support & System Design Lead system design and specification for installation projects. Generate high‑quality designs in Soundvision, technical drawings, reports, and documentation. Review and validate system designs from consultants, integrators, and partners. Support specification activities through technical expertise and early‑stage project engagement. Maintain an understanding of current installation best practices relating to system deployment, commissioning, audio transport, and 3rd party control system integration Commissioning & Validation Oversee system commissioning, conduct verification & system optimisation. Perform measurements and tuning using L‑Acoustics methodologies and industry‑standard tools. Validate installation quality and ensure audio systems perform according to design objectives. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support escalations. Consultant, Integrator & End User Enablement Build and maintain relationships with consultants, integrators, venue stakeholders, and end users. Act as a trusted technical advisor during project planning, deployment, and operation. Support customer adoption of L‑Acoustics best practices and workflows. Provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles, including understanding of required coordination information by RIBA stage. Training, Workshops & Presentations Deliver technical training, workshops, and demonstrations. Support the development of technical competency throughout the regional installation ecosystem. Develop and deliver technical presentations to consultants, integrators, and end users. Contribute to customer self‑sufficiency and operational excellence. Technical Ambassadorship & Market Development Represent L‑Acoustics at customer engagements, workshops, demonstrations, and industry events. Support project influence activities at early stages. Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and emerging requirements. Support new product introductions and regional adoption. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Share field feedback, workflow insights, and feature requests for both new and mature products with Sales, Product Management, Education, Support, and R&D teams. Coordinate engagement strategies with the internal Consultant Liaison team for key consultants and strategic projects. Contribute to regional technical initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Minimum 7 years of experience in the professional audio industry. Bachelor's, Master's, or Engineering degree preferred. Experience collaborating with consultants, architects, integrators, and end users throughout the project lifecycle, including design, commissioning, and handover. Experience designing, specifying, and integrating L‑Acoustics systems with third‑party audio and control systems. Experience with electroacoustic measurement and system optimisation tools. Strong understanding of networked audio systems and IP networking fundamentals, including Milan‑AVB, Dante, AES67, addressing, switching, and troubleshooting. Strong working knowledge of L‑Acoustics software including Soundvision and Network Manager (L‑ISA Controller experience is advantageous). Experience with BIM workflows and project coordination using Revit. Familiarity with 3D CAD platforms (AutoCAD/Vectorworks/SketchUp) and Soundvision drawing import workflows. Familiarity with project lifecycle frameworks such as RIBA Plan of Work, HOAI, or equivalent construction methodologies. L‑Acoustics System Engineer and System Technician certifications preferred. Portfolio of relevant projects required. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50‑75%) when required. Professional proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
