Oliver Wyman is seeking a Recruiter (m / f / d) to join our Entry‑Level / Early Careers Recruiting team in Munich - this is a 20 month maternity‑cover contract, ideally to start in January 2026

Please Note: Oliver Wyman / MMC operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from the Munich office at least 60% of the time.

About the role :

As a Recruiter, you will own early talent attraction efforts across Germany and Austria, playing a key role in shaping the next generation of Oliver Wyman consultants.

You will serve as the primary recruiting contact for interns and entry‑level hires in Germany and Austria. You will be responsible for building and delivering a compelling campus and early talent strategy that sets the standard in the market.

Working closely with local Recruiting Partners, the European Head of Recruiting, and senior stakeholders, you will drive the execution of recruitment marketing initiatives, engage with universities, plan events, and manage the end‑to‑end hiring process.

You will influence strategy through data analysis, assist in managing budgets, and ensure that our values and Inclusion & Diversity priorities are integrated at every stage of the candidate experience.

What you will be doing…
  • Support the execution of the recruiting strategy for Germany and Austria, keeping stakeholders informed on progress.
  • Contribute to Oliver Wyman’s Inclusion & Diversity agenda specifically for entry‑level hiring.
  • Assist in adapting firm‑wide recruitment marketing efforts and help create local campus materials, advertisements, and digital content.
  • Cultivate relationships with universities; plan and attend campus activities; coordinate logistics with consultant teams.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end hiring process for interns and graduates, including screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and reporting.
  • Gather and monitor recruiting metrics related to efficiency and resource needs; assist in maintaining recruiting IT systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Assist in managing the annual recruiting budget, processing invoices, and ensuring cost‑effective execution of recruitment initiatives.
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and candidate experience using feedback and data.
  • Collaborate with and support the development of local recruiting team members; share best practices across teams.
This role will suit someone with :
  • Around 3–4+ years of end‑to‑end graduate / early careers / early talent recruiting experience, ideally gained within the professional services or management consulting sectors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and German.
  • Experience of vendor coordination and campus marketing activities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases and willingness to use AI tools for efficiency
  • Experience with Workday or a similar ATS.
  • Prior experience of coordinating international or multi‑market recruiting events.
  • A background in consulting or knowledge of professional services recruiting
  • Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
