Pepperl+Fuchs in Mannheim is looking for an R&D Layouter (m/w/d) in Fieldbus Technology. You will design printed circuit boards, document layouts, and ensure explosion-protection considerations during layout while addressing high-speed embedded design challenges.

You will collaborate with production, QA, procurement, product management and other development groups, and support product maintenance and supplier coordination to create elaborate schematics, BOMs and manufacturing documents.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical degree.
• Alternatively, technician in electrical engineering with several years of relevant experience.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of analog and digital circuitry.
• Knowledge of PCB design.
• Basic EMC/EMI knowledge.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.

• Layout PCBs and documentations for products.
• Consider explosion protection requirements in the layout.
• Account for modern embedded architectures and high-speed design.
• Support product maintenance and help solve manufacturing issues.
