Constructor Labs seeks a Quantum Physicist to lead simulation and modeling of quantum many-body systems, and to bridge theory with real hardware, including neutral-atom and trapped-ion platforms. You will publish, collaborate with university partners, and contribute to grant applications.
The role blends research with product development, offering access to hardware and opportunities to translate methods into practical user-facing capabilities within a hybrid work model in Europe.
Germany
Location:Remote within Europe, with regular presence in Bremen
Direct Reports:None; supervision of students possible
Working Model: Remote / hybrid. Regular time on-site in Bremen.
Lead our work on quantum simulation and atomic platforms. The role covers modelling and simulation of quantum many-body systems, model-based calibration of atomic hardware, and optimal control, combining research with a software product that puts those methods into other people's hands.
Pillar 1 Simulation and Modelling
Success Metrics and KPIs: model accuracy against measurement, methods delivered into the product.
Pillar 2 Hardware Engagement
Accountability: calibration methods that work on real systems, not only in simulation.
Pillar 3 Research and Teaching
Success Metrics and KPIs: publications, collaborations established, grant applications supported.
