An opportunity has become available for a Quantum Optics Test Engineer to join a growing startup based in Jena.

• As a Quantum Optics Test Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;
• Create and build optical test setups+systems
• Automate and develop optical tests (ideally in Python)
• Assist production team in assembly and alignment of photon light sources
• Optical characterisation

To be considered for the Quantum Optics Test Engineer vacancy you must have :

• MSc or PhD in Optics / Quantum / Photonics
• Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience with quantum light sources
• Experience with entangled photon paired sources
• Experience aligning optical systems and photonic light sources
• Optical System Characterisation experience (ideally with QKDs)
