Job summary

Heraeus Holding GmbH is seeking a Quality Engineer (m/w/d) to develop, implement, and monitor QA processes in production. You will ensure quality data is analyzed and improvement measures are sustainably implemented, focusing on data-driven advancement of QA processes.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze deviations, assess risks, and define effective corrective actions using quality data and statistical methods. Strong collaboration and communication in English are required.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or natural sciences with proven QA process development experience.
  • Experience with SAP QM processes: quality notifications, inspection processes, inspection lots, results recording, master data.
  • Experience using quality management methods for root cause analysis and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor QA processes for production.
  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated into processes and data is analyzed for improvements.
  • Lead data-driven advancement of QA processes in manufacturing.
  • Act as QA process expert to analyze deviations and define corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

  • As aQuality Engineer (m/f/d), you will develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance processes for production.
  • You will ensure that quality requirements are effectively integrated into relevant processes, that quality data is systematically analyzed, and that improvement measures are sustainably implemented.
  • Your main focus will be thedata-driven advancement of quality assurance processes in manufacturing.
  • As the responsible expert for quality assurance processes, you will analyze quality deviations, assess process risks, and work closely with cross-functional teams to define effective corrective actions and support their successful implementation.
  • To achieve this, you will apply appropriate quality management methods and statistical techniques, using relevant quality data as the basis for decision-making.
  • You will collaborate closely with various departments and take an active role in driving the continuous improvement of processes and workflows.
  • Through your work, you will help identify quality risks at an early stage, sustainably reduce deviations, and establish robust quality assurance processes within production.
Your Profile:
  • A completed degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification, combined with proven experience in the independent development and optimization of quality assurance processes
  • Experience with SAP QM processes relevant to the role, such as quality notifications, inspection processes, inspection lots, results recording, and quality-related master data
  • Practical experience in applying quality management methods, particularly for root cause analysis, risk assessment, and the sustainable handling of non-conformities.Ability to perform statistical analysis of quality data, identify process variation and trends, and derive effective, data-based improvement actions
  • Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and production technologies, as well as the ability to evaluate their impact on product quality and process stability
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions
  • Good English language skills for working in an international environment
