Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH seeks a Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to help build the DNA of tech. The role focuses on optimizing the QM system, conducting internal and supplier audits, and supporting 8D reports and root cause analysis.

You will participate in FMEA/MRB reviews, develop QM metrics, and advance SPC while collaborating in an international environment. German and English fluency is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in a technical field or comparable training with several years of experience in quality management.
• Knowledge of QM tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D reports and VDA 6.3 is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork in an international environment.
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style with analytical skills.
• Fluent German and English, willingness to travel occasionally.

Job Location:

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:

• Optimization of the QM system with regard to external (customers, standards) and internal requirements
• Conducting internal product, system, and process audits, as well as supplier audits
• Supporting customer complaints and internal 8D reports regarding root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Participating in FMEA and MRB reviews
• Preparation and evaluation of QM metrics, e.g., TAQ, MRB, etc.
• Further development of the SPC system
• Support for technology and product development (milestone reviews)
• Ensuring the continuous improvement process and implementation of improvement projects

What you will bring along:

• A successfully completed degree in a technical field or comparable technical training with several years of professional experience, preferably in quality management
• Knowledge of QM tools is desirable (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, 8D report, VDA 6.3, etc.)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
• Independent, structured, and goal-oriented work style with a high degree of analytical skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
