Zusammenfassung

Remotely is seeking an experienced Quality/Test Engineer to support modernising timetable information for a major transport client in Germany. The role is freelance with hybrid work and occasional visits to Frankfurt, starting ASAP through 31 December 2026, with extension possible.

You will bring 3+ years coordinating E2E testing across 100+ interfaces, 3+ years of transport operations architecture, ISTQB certification and hands-on release, build and defect management using Xray or ALM Octane.

• 3+ years' technical architecture experience within transport operations.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher.
• 5+ years' experience with release, build and delivery processes.
• 5+ years using Xray or ALM Octane and managing defect processes.
• Experience producing test reports and release recommendations.

Start: ASAP

Hybrid - Occasional visits to Frankfurt

Initial term until 31 December 2026, with extension possible

German: Minimum C1

Candidates based in EU

Key requirements:

• 3+ years coordinating functional and integrative E2E testing across complex system landscapes with 100+ interfaces
• 3+ years' technical architecture experience within transport operations
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher
• 5+ years' experience with release, build and delivery processes
• 5+ years using Xray or ALM Octane and managing defect processes
• Experience producing test reports and release recommendations

GitLab, Artifactory and system integration testing experience would be advantageous.
