Quality Assurance Specialist - QMS & Continuous Improvement (f,m,d)

Join our team, where you\'ll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our quality systems across two manufacturing sites in Germany. Your expertise will ensure compliance with both quality and legal requirements, as well as uphold our internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify Improvements: Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments to find optimization opportunities and implement effective solutions
• Develop Procedures: Create and update procedures and work instructions to ensure operational excellence
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce good manufacturing practices and quality policies, maintaining high product standards
• Local Policy Implementation: Apply global corporate policies at the local level
• Support Validation: Assist in qualification and validation activities
• Resolve Issues: Support in investigating and resolving quality-related issues, including deviations and customer complaints
• Implement Quality Systems: Implement policies and programs to meet quality standards
• Participate in Audits: Engage in audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Conduct Internal Audits: Lead or participate to internal audits to minimize quality risks
• Facilitate Training: Provide training on product quality standards and internal requirements
• Review Production Documentation: Ensure compliance in production documentation, covering manufacturing processes and quality inspections
• Track Improvements: Follow up on deviations, complaints, and corrective actions for continuous improvement
• Monitor Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance programs like GMP, HACCP, and more

Job Requirements

• Bachelor/master\'s degree in natural science (e.g. pharmacy, chemistry) or engineering
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in quality assurance or a related discipline in the food, or pharmaceutical industry
• GMP Expertise: Deep knowledge of good manufacturing practices, including EXCiPACT GMP/IPEC-PQG GMP, FSSC 22000, and 21 CFR 111
• Industry Experience: Familiarity with quality control processes in the food or pharmaceutical industries, encompassing analytical and/or microbiological analyses
• SAP Skills: Experience with SAP is a plus
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, demonstrate initiative, and precision
• Exceptional teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across functional and disciplinary boundaries

This is a full time position and will be located in Stade (greater Hamburg area).
