Zusammenfassung

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC is seeking a licensed fire protection engineer to provide government-submitted QFPE function for fire-alarm and life-safety work on the Storck Barracks Microgrid project in Germany. This senior role requires review, certification and adherence to Host Nation requirements.

You will coordinate DIN 14675 and VDE 0833, attend inspections, document deficiencies and support government approval, commissioning, training and closeout.

About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Provide the Government-submitted QFPE function for fire-alarm and related life-safety work and verify compliance with the contract, Host Nation requirements and approved design.

What You Will Do
  • Review and certify fire-protection design, calculations, equipment, sequences and submittals within the QFPE scope.
  • Coordinate DIN 14675, VDE 0833, AHJ, USACE and installation life-safety requirements.
  • Attend required inspections and acceptance testing; document deficiencies and verify correction.
  • Support Government approval, commissioning, training, O&M and closeout records.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Licensed/registered professional engineer with demonstrable fire-protection engineering competence acceptable under the contract and Government/AHJ review.
  • Experience with addressable fire alarm systems, power/controls facilities and German fire-alarm codes and approval practices.
  • Ability to provide signed/sealed or otherwise formally certified deliverables where required.
  • German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.
Preferred Qualifications

NCEES Fire Protection Engineering examination; DIN 14675/VDE 0833 experience; federal/USACE work.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access
  • German-language, local credential, local-practice or continuous-presence needs control selection.
  • Lawful Germany work authorization/status and installation access are required before in-country duties.
  • May be engaged through an approved qualified first-tier firm; independence and professional-responsibility limits must be preserved.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.
Field, Travel and Employment Conditions
  • Work arrangement: REMOTE/HYBRID - Germany attendance is mandatory at defined milestones; minimum presence: Remote submittal/design review; Germany attendance for critical inspections, testing and Government acceptance.
  • Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
