Position Overview

• Title: Qt Developer (m/f/d)
• Client: ROHDE&SCHWARZ
• Location: Stuttgart
• Start Date: July 1, 2025
• Duration: Initially until June 30, 2026 (max. 24 months)
• Working Hours: 35-40 hours per week
• Remote Work: Up to 60% possible (after onboarding)
• Security Clearance: No Ü2 required, NfD briefing necessary
• Languages: German (negotiation fluent), English (advanced)
• Salary Expectation:
  • For candidates with 3-5 years of relevant professional experience: A gross annual salary between 60,000 € and 75,000 € is realistic.
  • For experienced Qt Developers (5+ years) with very strong knowledge in all mentioned areas, especially Embedded GUI, modern C++, and software architecture: The salary can range between 75,000 € and 90,000 €.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and expansion of a user interface for a radio device (SVFuA/SDTR).
• Analysis of (change) requirements.
• Creation of a design for the change or expansion.
• Coordination of changes within the team.
• Implementation of changes.
• Testing of the implementation.
• Maintenance and expansion of test cases for the user interface.
• Analysis of new or changed requirements to be tested.
• Creation of a test specification.

• Adaptation or expansion of test cases.

Requirements

• Very good experience in object-oriented software development (modern C++).
• Experience with Embedded GUI and use of QT (4.8-5.x).
• Experience in Embedded-SW-development.
• Experience in the development of GUI applications.
• Experience in handling GIT.
• Experience in handling Squish or comparable GUI test tools.
• Experience with Change Management Systems (IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC)).
• Experience with Build environments and tools (gitlab-ci, Jenkins, artifactory, cmake).
• Python.
• Experience in handling Microsoft Windows.
• Experience in handling Microsoft Office.
• Experience in handling Linux as well as Embedded Linux variants (e.g., buildroot, Yocto).
