Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Lead QA/QC Coordinator for a major semiconductor project in Dresden, Germany. The on-site freelance role runs for 12 months with ASAP start and full-time workload.

You will lead the QA/QC team, act as the main client contact for project and quality management, ensure a uniform QA/QC approach, coordinate inspections and approvals, and drive quality improvements on site. English fluency is mandatory; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of experience as a QA/QC Manager, QA/QC Coordinator, or Quality Engineer in industrial or plant construction.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a QA/QC Manager, QA/QC Coordinator, or Quality Engineer within industrial or plant construction projects
• Strong site-based experience in industrial, pharmaceutical, energy, or process plant environments
• Proven experience leading and coordinating QA/QC teams
• Solid knowledge of piping construction, inspections, and quality documentation
• Confident communication skills and the ability to engage with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Ability to bring structure to complex project environments and drive decisions when required
• Fluent English is mandatory
• German language skills are considered an advantage

Aufgaben

• Fachliche Koordination und Steuerung des QS-Teams auf der Baustelle
• Zentraler Ansprechpartner für Kunde, Projektleitung und Qualitätsmanagement
• Sicherstellung einer einheitlichen Vorgehensweise im Bereich QA/QC
• Koordination und Nachverfolgung von Inspektionen, Prüfungen und Abnahmen
• Bewertung und Bearbeitung von Qualitätsabweichungen
• Abstimmung mit Construction Management, Engineering und Lieferanten
• Führung von Qualitätsmeetings sowie Kommunikation mit dem Endkunden
• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung und Nachverfolgung der Qualitätsdokumentation

Anforderungen

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung als QA/QC Manager, QS-Koordinator oder Qualitätsingenieur im Anlagenbau
• Baustellenerfahrung im Industrie-, Pharma-, Energie- oder Prozessanlagenbau
• Erfahrung in der Führung und Koordination von QS-Teams
• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Rohrleitungsbau und in der Qualitätsdokumentation
• Souveränes Auftreten gegenüber Kunden, Lieferanten und Projektbeteiligten
• Fähigkeit, in anspruchsvollen Projektphasen Strukturen zu schaffen und Entscheidungen voranzutreiben
• Fließende Englischkenntnisse zwingend erforderlich
