Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Buildings and Infrastructure to lead national and international projects from planning through completion. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality and client expectations while coordinating multidisciplinary teams across Germany and Europe.

The role requires a degree in engineering-related fields, experience managing major projects, and strong communication with clients and stakeholders. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading building, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and financial performance.
• Experience delivering projects in Germany and/or Europe.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, including direct work with clients and key stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel (approx. 10–20%).

• Preparing proposals, fee estimates, and responses to client requests.
• Supporting project site visits and project-related travel as required.
• Mentoring junior project managers and technical professionals.
• Adhering to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Your impact

As a Project Manager, you will lead challenging national and international building and infrastructure projects from early planning through project completion. Supporting public and private sector clients across Germany and Europe, you will be responsible for delivering projects while managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.

Your Duties:

• Managing building and infrastructure projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• Delivering projects in accordance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, contractual requirements, and client expectations

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
• Experience leading building, infrastructure, engineering, or construction projects
• Demonstrated success managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and financial performance
• Experience delivering projects in Germany and/or Europe
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working directly with clients and key project stakeholders
• Willingness to travel (approximately 10-20%)

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Familiarity with permitting, planning, and multidisciplinary project delivery processes
• Experience supporting projects for the U.S. Military, Bundeswehr, other defense organizations, or public‑sector clients
