Role Description

In this role, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and will manage complex and innovative IT projects. In these projects, we develop and deploy solutions based on our technologies and products that optimally support clients and communities in making the most of geospatial data to our clients. Responsibilities
  • Central internal and external point of contact for one or more projects at any given time
  • Clarify requirements between stakeholders and help create solutions that really solve problems
  • Manage project budget, risks, timelines, synergies
  • Create transparency into the project status and requirements
  • Continuously improve our PM practice and PMO tools
Your Profile
  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in software or technology-driven environments, with project budgets in the range of 100k€ to 5M€
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale projects in remote or distributed, interdisciplinary team settings.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Previous domain experience in public sector, GIS or environmental data projects
  • Proactive, motivated and reliable personality
  • Analytic, methodological and creative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in German (C1+, more than 50% of our clients are from DACH)
  • Fluent in English (B2+, primary internal language)
Bonus Qualifications
  • Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Ecology, or related fields
  • IPMA Level-D or Level-C certifications
  • ITIL certifications
  • Other PM certifications
  • Experience with Software Development methodologies such as Kanban, SCRUM
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and Software QA methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA
