Job Title: Senior Project Manager Finance/IT – Demand Focus (m/w/d)

I am currently partnering with a highly successful, innovative financial services company based in Duisburg. We are actively seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to act as the vital link between business divisions and IT execution. If you thrive on transforming business needs into actionable technical realities and have a strong background in IT Service Management, this could be your next big move.

The Role

In this high-impact position, your primary focus will be on driving the demand management lifecycle. You will take ownership of incoming requirements, ensuring they are meticulously planned, prioritized, and seamlessly integrated into IT and Workflow Management (WFM) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Ownership: Record, enrich, and meticulously check incoming business demands for completeness before assigning them to defined IT and WFM interfaces.
• Strategic Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize demands in close consultation with key stakeholders and business leaders.
• Project Leadership: Lead complex implementation projects and coordinate client onboardings from end to end.
• Executive Delivery: Spearhead special, high-complexity projects directly for the Managing Director and C-suite.
• Incident Management: Take charge and lead task forces during "major incidents" or significant process disruptions.
• Tracking & Reporting: Maintain transparent project documentation in Jira or Confluence and conduct regular status meetings with the respective business divisions.

Your Profile

• Extensive practical experience in IT project management, with a heavy emphasis on requirements and demand management.
• A strong background in IT Service Management; ITIL Foundation, Service Operation, or Service Transition certifications are highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of IT, workflow management, and core business processes. Experience in the financial services or debt collection industry is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience with standard project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2.
