Join a dynamic shipbuilding team in Bremerhaven as a Project Engineer for their Outfitting department. Drive innovation in exterior outfitting for yachts and specialty vessels, with opportunities for creativity, development, and hands-on project involvement.

Tasks

• Organize and develop system areas for new builds and refits
• Define scope for construction of the exterior outfitting areas, required deliveries, and services
• Support construction planning and technical specifications
• Accompany supplier negotiations and oversee order processing
• Participate in FAT, HAT, and SAT events
• Act as interface to other engineering departments
• Attend meetings with class and customer representatives

Job requirements

• Completed degree in shipbuilding
• 2–10 years’ experience in yacht or passenger ship exterior outfitting
• Confident knowledge of relevant shipbuilding regulations
• Professional proficiency in English
• Basic German skills required (spoken and written, plus willingness to improve with offered German language classes.)
• Experience with AutoCAD; Cadmatic Outfitting knowledge is a plus
• Strong adaptability, analytical thinking, and customer orientation
• Willingness to learn and openness to feedback
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
