Norconsulting Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer – Buildings / Edification for an on-site role in Stade, Germany. You will support engineering and construction activities related to buildings and facilities, coordinating with civil, structural, architectural and MEP teams on a major industrial project.

The ideal candidate holds a civil or building engineering degree, has experience on large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects, and can review drawings, manage RFIs and ensure compliance

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or similar.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good level of English; German advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate technical activities related to building and edification works.

• Manage technical queries, RFIs and design modifications.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines.

A leading European construction and engineering group, involved in the delivery of a major industrial project in Stade, Germany, is looking to strengthen its site team with an experienced Project Engineer – Buildings / Edification.

The successful candidate will support the engineering and construction activities related to the project’s buildings and associated facilities, working closely with engineering disciplines, construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate technical activities related to building and edification works
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Provide technical support to construction teams on site
• Manage technical queries, RFIs and design modifications
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP disciplines
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and engineering teams
• Support material approvals and technical evaluations
• Assist in resolving engineering and construction issues
• Monitor the technical progress of building works

Profile:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture or similar
• Experience in large-scale industrial, EPC, energy, Oil & Gas, LNG or infrastructure projects would be highly valued
• Good understanding of building construction, structural and architectural works
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Good level of English
• German would be advantageous
• Availability to work on-site in Stade
