What to expect

As a Project Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the development and improvement of systems, components, and manufacturing processes from concept to implementation. Based full time on site at our Pfungstadt location, you'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive product and process innovation while ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with business goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design and develop systems, components, and processes.
  • Plan and manage technical projects from concept through implementation.
  • Conduct experiments, analyze data, and document findings.
  • Collaborate with R&D, production, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Prioritize and consolidate cross‑departmental project needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO and HSE standards.
  • Present results and technical recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or related Engineering fields.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong CAD and PDM system skills; basic knowledge of the plastics industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Strong MS Office skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Confident, responsible, and collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany and across Europe.
