Zusammenfassung

Our client, a leading Renewable Energy organisation, seeks a Project Director - HVDC to oversee offshore wind EPC contracts across the German/European region. You will lead the project organisation, including project managers, site managers and engineering managers, and drive delivery from development through to handover.

You will negotiate contracts with sub-contractors, implement safety and risk management on site, and provide regular progress reports to executive leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical.
• Experience overseeing a large project (£500M+) from cradle to grave in Offshore Wind Energy, Civil, Rail etc.
• Prior management of 15+ direct reports.

Aufgaben

The recent announcement of contracts has lead to further expansion and investment to grow their team with the organisation looking to secure a Project Director - HVDC to oversee the offshore wind EPC contracts of one of their exciting offshore assignments.

The Role

• Oversee the development, construction and delivery of a Megaproject worth up to £2B
• Lead and manage the project organisation including Project managers, Site Managers and Engineering Managers
• Support negotiation of contracts and choose sub - contractors
• Develop and implement safety of sites and workers including risk assessments and method statements
• Lead and manage sub-contractors
• Prepare and provide site progress reports and reporting to executive leadership (Vice President)

The Person

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical
• Experience overseeing a large project (£500M+) from cradle to grave - Offshore Wind Energy, Civil, Rail etc
• Prior management of 15+ direct reports
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) & Professional/Advanced German
