Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a Project Development Manager to own utility-scale solar PV and BESS development in Germany, from opportunity assessment to permitting and approvals.

You will coordinate land-use planning, stakeholder negotiations, and ensure milestones, budgets, and risk management are addressed, with fluent German and English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in utility-scale solar PV project development.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience with BESS projects in Germany.
• Proven track record navigating German permitting processes and securing final approvals.
• Strong knowledge of German planning regulations, land-use procedures and stakeholder negotiations.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

I’m working with an international renewable energy developer expanding its presence in the German market, with a focus on utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS) and hybrid projects.

They’re looking for a Project Development Manager to take ownership of projects from early-stage opportunity identification through to permitting and final approvals.
