Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Program Manager to drive internal technical execution across engineering, ensuring deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and completed on time.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining program discipline by coordinating day-to-day activities within Varian teams and ensuring alignment to program goals. Working with Engineering and senior leadership, you will ensure execution is structured, visible, and predictable.

The Program Manager will focus on driving internal technical execution, ensuring that engineering deliverables are clearly defined, tracked, and completed on time. This role plays a critical part in maintaining program discipline by coordinating day-to-day activities within Varian teams and ensuring alignment to program goals.

Working closely with Engineering and senior program leadership, this role ensures internal execution is structured, visible, and predictable.

Responsibilities

• Internal Execution & Deliverables
  • Drive timely closure of deliverables and action items, ensuring no loss of momentum across engineering teams
  • Ensure consistent forward progress across all internal technical workstreams.
  • Maintain clear visibility of task status, dependencies, and milestones
  • Ensure deliverables are well-defined, achievable, and aligned with program timelines
• Program Coordination
  • Own coordination of day-to-day coordination across internal teams (hardware, software, systems)
  • Maintain a single source of truth for program execution status, such as program schedules, action logs, and reporting dashboards
  • Facilitate team meetings, ensuring clarity on next steps and ownership
• Issue Tracking & Follow-up
  • Track action items and ensure timely closure of technical tasks
  • Escalate risks or delays to senior program leadership as needed
  • Own the creation and update of issue tracking and documentation
• Process & Discipline
  • Reinforce program management best practices and execution discipline
  • Help standardize tools, templates, and communication flows
  • Ensure technical documentation and deliverables are complete and consistent
• Risk & Issue Management
  • Proactively track, manage, and elevate risks impacting internal technical deliverables and timelines.
• Communication
  • Provide clear, structured updates to internal stakeholders and technical teams
  • Facilitate technical decision-making across organizations and ensure internal alignment

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
• 3–6 years of experience in project or program coordination, preferably in technical environments
• Familiarity with engineering development processes
• Strong organizational and execution skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Clear and structured communication style
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

The base pay range for this position is:

$139,180 - $191,378

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
