As the Program Coordinator, you will work within our adult partial care located in Berlin, Camden County NJ.

From young adults in transition, to seniors in need of specialized care, partial care programs provide adults living with a mental illness with the support needed to prevent psychiatric hospitalization and improve functioning in the community. Utilizing principles of wellness and recovery and peer support systems, we work with individuals to create a personalized wellness and recovery plan, develop positive relationships and improve overall quality of life.

Located in Berlin, Camden County NJ

Schedule: Full‑time; Monday‑Friday 8:30a‑5:00p

The applicant must demonstrate a knowledge of wellness and recovery principals, awareness of the impact and limitations of mental health illness and social functioning. In addition, the applicant must have the ability to convey trust and gain respect from the population served. He/she must also possess superb written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and interventions to clients
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups with a focus on wellness and recovery
  • Provide advocacy, case coordination and case management
  • Maintain clinical records as required by Agency policiesProvide support to medical team as well as act as a liaison with clients to maintain medical appointment schedule

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA,BS,BSW) and minimum of two (2) year’s experience in providing mental health services;
  • Master’s degree (MA,MS,MSW) in mental health, rehabilitation of human services field preferred.

Programs funded through SAMHSA must follow federal guidelines for a drug free workplace.
