Job Description

Starting: January 1, 2027 or by mutual agreement

Location: WHU Campus Düsseldorf

WHU has over 60 faculty members in management, finance and accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, marketing and sales, supply chain management. The research culture is anchored on quality, internationality, and relevance.

The successful candidate will lead an innovative research agenda and contribute to teaching in WHU’s graduate and Executive Education programs. Their research should advance knowledge in leadership in the context of technological and societal transformation. The candidate is expected to collaborate actively with WHU’s Center for Leadership Excellence and assume academic responsibilities, especially in Executive Education.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent in Organizational Psychology, Management, or related discipline with emphasis on Leadership.
• Proven record of scholarly excellence, publications in leading academic journals.
• Experience in executive education program development, ability to design and deliver new programs, and commitment to WHU’s executive education portfolio.
• Strong collaboration with corporate sector and ecosystem to grow WHU’s Executive Education network.
• Outstanding communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.
