Qualifications

• Bachelor-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik, Maschinenbau, Werkstoffwissenschaften, Physik oder verwandtem technischen Bereich.
• Erste Berufserfahrung in Prüfzentrum, Qualitätssicherung, Produktvalidierung oder vergleichbarer technischer Umgebung.
• Kenntnisse in elektrischen, mechanischen und/oder Umweltprüfmethoden und Verfahren.
• Verständnis relevanter Prüfstandards, Spezifikationen und Labortätigkeiten.
• Fähigkeit, strukturierte Testpläne zu entwickeln und Tests präzise durchzuführen.
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung technischer Berichte und Dokumentation der Prüfergebnisse.
• Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift; Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil.
• Teamorientierte, proaktive und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.

Responsibilities

• Tests auf Funktion und Zuverlässigkeit von HARTING-Produkten.
• Durchführung von gültigen Tests gemäß Service-Level.
• Erstellung von Testplänen für definierte Anforderungen.
• Durchführung der Tests mit Interpretation und Kommunikation der Ergebnisse.
• Vorbereitung von Berichten gemäß den Anforderungen des Labors.

As a Professional Laboratory Engineer / Test Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of HARTING products through rigorous and timely testing procedures. You will develop detailed test plans based on defined requirements and execute these tests with precision. Your role includes interpreting test results, preparing comprehensive reports in accordance with laboratory standards, and clearly communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will represent and explain test outcomes in both internal and external discussions, contributing to the continuous improvement of product quality and performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Tests on the function and reliability of HARTING products.
• Execution of valid tests according to the service level.
• Creation of test schedules for defined requirements.
• Conducting the tests with interpretation and communication of the results.
• Preparation of reports according to the requirements of the laboratory.
• Representing and explaining the test results.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Initial professional experience in a testing laboratory, quality assurance, product validation, or a comparable technical environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and/or environmental testing methods and procedures.
• Understanding of relevant testing standards, specifications, and laboratory processes.
• Ability to develop structured test plans and execute tests accurately and efficiently
• Experience in preparing technical reports and documenting test results in a clear and professional manner.
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken; additional German language skills are an advantage.
• Team-oriented mindset combined with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
