• Completed commercial apprentice, ideally with further education in the field of export and customs.
• Many years of experience in import and export as well as customs.
• Profound expertise in customs law, export control law as well as preferential law.
• Comprehensive knowledge of customs and foreign trade regulations and restrictions.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.

• Ensure legal compliance and supervision of all export, import and customs-related matters.
• Advise all departments and sites of PI regarding customs and export-related topics.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations.
• Coordinate, manage and review export-import handlings.
• Monitor, optimize and reapply for all existing approvals and certificates.

Your Tasks:

You ensure the legal compliance and supervision of all export, import and customs-related matters. Moreover, you take the overall responsibility for customs and AEO-F at all German sites as well as export control.

• Advisory of all departments and sites of PI regarding customs and export-related topics
• Monitor and ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations
• Coordinate, manage and review export-import handlings
• Monitor, optimize and reapply for all existing approvals and certificates
• Overall responsibility for preferential rights at PI Karlsruhe, PImicos as well as PIC and across the PI Group
• Review export transactions requiring permission and submit BAFA applications
• Monitor changes in legal export regulations and support the operational implementation
• Revise documentation, check processes and contracts, develop guidelines as well as procedures and conduct training sessions

Your Profile:

You possess an excellent ability to quickly and thoroughly understand complex matters to assess them in terms of customs and export-relevant operational processes.
