Movaria GmbH in Munich is seeking a hands-on technician to build, test and repair drivetrain systems for cargo e-bikes across Europe and the US. You will assemble, wire, solder and troubleshoot components, while performing lathe/mill work and operating test benches for validation.

This front-line role requires a completed technical trade or equivalent hands-on experience, with German or English fluency. The position is based in Munich with a four-day-week consideration and central city location.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training in a technical trade (electrical, mechatronics or mechanical) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Interest in electrical engineering and electronics, with hands-on project exposure.
• Willingness to learn additional parts and processes.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will build, test and repair the drivetrain systems that go into cargo e-bikes across Europe and the US. No two days look the same: one morning you may be assembling and wiring a batch of motor units, the next you are tracking down why a returned controller fails on the test bench, or turning a fixture part on the lathe because the tool we need does not exist yet.

Assembly and installation of our drivetrain and IoT components

Soldering and rework on electronic assemblies, from through hole to fine pitch

Troubleshooting and repair of returned or failed units, including root cause analysis

Operating our test benches and supporting testing and validation

Machining and fixture work on the lathe and mill, depending on your interest and skill

Warehouse and logistics tasks as part of day to day operations

Requirements

Completed training in a technical trade (electrical, mechatronics, mechanical) or comparable hands on experience

Interest in electrical engineering and electronics, whether from your job, your training or your own projects

A feel for mechanical work. Experience with lathe, mill or general workshop equipment is a plus, not a must

Careful, structured way of working, because our parts end up in certified vehicles

Willingness to learn the parts you do not know yet. We will teach the rest
