Job summary

Fidelity International in Frankfurt am Main/Kronberg (hybrid) is seeking a Product Owner for the Altersvorsorgedepot to drive end-to-end product ownership across build, launch and BAU. You will balance commercial opportunity, customer value, regulatory integrity and operational readiness while working with Distribution and Marketing to establish the proposition as a long-term product.

While being part of the proposition organization you will also head up and run the Altersvorsorgedepot team. It is building one of our most strategic new product propositions, creating a scalable, compliant and customer-centred retirement offering that will shape how clients invest for their future.

About Your Role

As Product Owner for the Altersvorsorgedepot, you will take end-to-end ownership of one of our most strategically important new product initiatives. You will be accountable for shaping, delivering and continuously evolving the product across build, launch and business-as-usual phases, balancing commercial opportunity, customer value, operational readiness and regulatory integrity. This is a true business ownership role with significant decision-making responsibility and shared accountability for the economic success of the proposition.

Working at the intersection of proposition, technology, operations and regulatory requirements, you will lead the cross-functional squad responsible for the Altersvorsorgedepot and set priorities across the product lifecycle. You will translate strategy into a clear roadmap, make informed trade-offs, and ensure delivery of a solution that is scalable, client-centric and operationally robust. You will work particularly closely with Distribution and Marketing to bring the proposition to life and establish it as a sustainable long-term product within the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support and run our pension proposition, incl. leadership of the associated squad
• Drive strategic development of new and existing offerings for advisers and end investors
• Conduct market and competitor analysis, and support user research and testing initiatives
• Manage product and project lifecycles - from idea through design, implementation, and launch
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery
• Oversee product governance, coordinate incident resolution, and support regulatory compliance
• Monitor business KPIs and help shape roadmaps and forward-looking planning

About You

You have proven experience owning and delivering complex digital investment or retirement products in a regulated financial services environment. You bring strong product leadership with clear commercial judgement and the ability to make decisions in ambiguous, high-impact situations.

You are confident operating across business, operations and technology, and you understand how to translate regulatory and operational requirements into a compelling, scalable customer proposition.

You combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and have a track record of leading cross-functional teams through build, launch and continuous improvement. Experience in retirement, pension, platform or wealth propositions would be highly valuable.
