Job Description

At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store.

Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.

From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts, we've kept expanding our products to make shopping smarter. Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it.

Having reached profitability in our core market, we're now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.

It's still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

Our Product Team

Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko's Product team groups the passionate individuals behind our users' delight! From brainstorming to development to launch, the Product team's main mission is to turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with the Engineering, Design, and Business teams.

Joko is organized into four product tribes, each owning a key dimension of the company's value:

  • Business lines owns the current core value proposition, covering online shopping, in-store experiences, and gift cards, each run as a dedicated team.
  • Scale focuses on growing and amplifying this value through growth, international expansion, and shared core user experiences across the app.
  • Juno builds the next value proposition: an AI shopping assistant that finds the right product at the best price in seconds, backed by a universal catalog of what merchants actually sell.
  • Platform serves teams and non user-facing stakeholders, owning internal tools, infrastructure, compliance, and operational scalability.
The Online task force

Online is a task force inside the Business Lines tribe. It owns Joko's largest revenue stream. When a user shops through Joko at one of our merchant partners, Joko earns an affiliate commission and shares part of it back as cash back. Simple in one sentence, and genuinely hard in practice.

The reason is that the chain has to hold end to end: the user has to see the offer at the right moment, the click has to be tracked by the affiliate network, the transaction has to be attributed to the right person, the commission has to be approved by the merchant, and the cash back has to land. Every one of those steps leaks. Cookie consent, ad blockers, browser tracking restrictions, competitors racing us for the last click, merchant-specific implementations across dozens of affiliate networks --- the domain is a genuinely fascinating puzzle, and very few PMs anywhere get to become expert in it.

The work spans every Joko surface: the mobile app, the browser extensions, and the web app. The task force is a small, autonomous team: a Product Manager who owns it, a Product Designer, and software engineers.

What You Will Do

As Product Manager for the Online task force, you own it. That means the reliability and the economics of Joko's affiliate business end to end --- the user-facing moments that capture a purchase, and the pipeline that turns it into revenue and cash back. You will report to Victor, who leads the Business Lines tribe, and work with a Product Designer and software engineers at the intersection of product, business, and deep technical detail.

  • Own the revenue chain: You will own catch rate and track rate --- the two metrics that determine whether a purchase becomes revenue. You will decompose where they leak, size each lever, and prioritise accordingly. A fraction of a point here is worth hundreds of thousands of euros a year, so the analysis has to be right.
  • The capture experience: Most of the gap is a UX problem. The majority of missed purchases are sessions where a user saw a Joko widget and closed or ignored it. You will run experiments on the widgets injected into merchant pages: the offer prompt, the cash back reminder at checkout, coupon automation, payment options. Fast, measurable A/B testing on real money.
  • Tracking & attribution: You will go deep on how affiliate tracking actually works --- link loading mechanisms, click identifiers, cookie lifetimes, background versus direct loading, cross-device attribution --- and work with engineers to make an inherently fragile chain more robust.
  • Structural challenges: Privacy regulation, browser restrictions, and last-click competition are shifting conditions you will navigate continuously. You will build the product strategy that keeps the business healthy as the rules change.
  • Coupons & BNPL: You will own the auto-applied promo code experience and Buy Now Pay Later at checkout, both of which sit right where the user decides to pay --- and right where attribution is won or lost.
  • User pain, directly: Untracked transactions and missing cash back are among the top drivers of Care tickets. Fixing them is a revenue project and a trust project at once, and you will own both sides.
  • Stakeholders: You will work with the B2B teams who own merchant relationships, with Care, with Data, and directly with the affiliate platforms itself.
Who We're Looking For
  • Experience: You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally on consumer products. Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, payments, adtech or affiliate marketing is a strong plus. Appetite for a technically dense revenue domain matters more than the exact background.
  • Data fluency: This is the criterion that carries the most weight here. You are comfortable interrogating a funnel yourself, breaking a metric into its components, and telling a real signal from noise. Much of the job is diagnosis before it is delivery.
  • Business sense: You think in revenue, margin, and trade-offs. You can size a lever in euros before committing a team to it, and you are comfortable being accountable for a number.
  • Technical appetite: You want to understand how the tracking actually works --- browser behaviour, cookies, redirects, backend pipelines. Coding is not required, but you will be deep in the mechanics every week.
  • Experimentation: You have run real A/B tests and know how to design one that answers a question.
  • Resilience: Much of this domain sits outside your control --- browsers change, merchants change, competitors change. Problems that never fully close are what motivate you.
  • AI fluency: You are hands‑on with AI tools in your own product work. At Joko this is expected daily, across the whole company.
  • Location: Based in France or Spain.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, both written and spoken. French is a plus, but it is optional.
  • Mindset: You have an entrepreneurial mindset, you like challenges, you welcome feedback and you love constantly learning and getting better.
