Product Management

Turning problems into product solutions – coordinate technical solutions with methods, market understanding and implementation skills

Your Responsibilities

• Derivation of specific technical problems from market and customer requirements
• Development and moderation of solutions in collaboration with internal and external experts
• Applying modern innovation methods such as design thinking, lean startup or stage-gate processes.
• Validating solutions through testing, prototypes and MVPs – right up to handover to product development
• Coordinating interfaces between product management, development, sales and service
• Portfolio management in solution development: evaluation, prioritisation and continuous development of new solutions in the context of the overall portfolio

Your Profile and Skills

• Completed degree in engineering, product development, plastics engineering or comparable qualification
• Several years' experience in product management and technical solution development, ideally in machinery or plant engineering
• Sector knowledge in injection moulding, blow moulding or extrusion advantageous
• Methodical competence in market analysis, SWOT, competitive comparisons, value proposition design and business model canvas
• Ability to analyse technical challenges in a structured manner and develop customer-oriented solutions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary project teams
