Its products combine immersive technologies, realistic virtual environments, modern software, and selected hardware components. The solutions are used in demanding operational contexts where reliability, usability, and realistic training scenarios are essential.

As Product Manager – XR & Simulation, you will take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technically complex software products. You will work closely with end users, subject-matter experts, engineering, design, quality assurance, and business development.

This role is ideal for an experienced product professional who understands complex technical requirements, sets clear priorities, and successfully guides products from initial discovery through development to customer rollout.

Your Responsibilities

• Own and continuously develop the product strategy and roadmap for immersive training, simulation, and planning products
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and validation to release and customer rollout
• Gather requirements directly from end users, instructors, technical specialists, and other subject-matter experts
• Translate operational, commercial, and technical requirements into clear and actionable product specifications
• Prioritise features and take ownership of the product backlog
• Plan and coordinate releases in close collaboration with engineering, design, and quality assurance
• Align technical, operational, and commercial stakeholders around product priorities and delivery goals
• Support product demonstrations, customer workshops, pilot projects, and testing activities
• Systematically collect and evaluate user and customer feedback
• Turn real-world usage insights into concrete product improvements
• Monitor relevant market, competitor, and technology developments
• Support occasional customer visits and project activities at external locations

Your Profile

• At least five years of professional experience in product management
• Proven experience managing complex B2B or B2G software products
• A strong track record of delivering products from discovery through to customer rollout
• Strong technical understanding, ideally within one or more of the following areas:
• XR, VR, AR, or MR
• 3D software and simulation
• Real-time systems
• Geospatial, mapping, or planning systems
• Experience working closely with software engineering, design, and quality assurance teams
• Strong skills in requirements management, backlog prioritisation, and stakeholder coordination
• Ability to translate complex operational and technical challenges into clear, user-focused product solutions
• Experience working directly with demanding enterprise, public-sector, or regulated customers
• A structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, both at a minimum C1 level
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customers, partners, and project locations
• EU or NATO citizenship due to the security-related nature of the projects

Additional experience in simulation, professional training, safety-critical technologies, unmanned systems, mission-planning solutions, hardware-software integration, or immersive applications would be a strong advantage.
