Neways Electronics International NV is seeking a Product Engineer (m/f/d) to take overall technical responsibility for products throughout their lifecycle, from inquiry and industrialization to series production and after-sales support. The role is in the Engineering Department, Work Preparation Division, with flexible hours and on-site work; the position is limited to two years.

Qualifikationen

• Strong technical understanding and ability to work with electronics components and IPC standards.
• Excellent English language skills.
• Experience with CAD data processing and material databases.

Aufgaben

• Performing cost calculations, manufacturability analyses, and cost-effectiveness evaluations for standard assemblies.
• Providing technical support during the inquiry and quotation process, including evaluation of product variants and coordination with Sales and customers.
• Taking overall responsibility for standard projects from the quotation phase through series production readiness, including project planning and change management.
• Creating and approving manufacturing documentation, as well as defining, implementing, and optimizing product-specific manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Ensuring and technically supporting the series production process, including analyzing and resolving deviations and customer complaints.
• Identifying and implementing measures to optimize processes, quality, and costs, including cost reviews and profitability analyses.

As a Product Engineer (m/f/d), you will assume overall technical responsibility for products/assemblies throughout their entire lifecycle, from customer inquiry and industrialization through to series production and after-sales support. You will work in the Engineering Department, Work Preparation Division, with flexible working hours. This is a full-time position limited to two years.

This is what you bring to the team:

Completed vocational training with many years of professional experience, or a qualification as a Certified Specialist, Technician, or Master Craftsman with several years of professional experience, or a degree in Business Administration / Bachelor's degree with initial professional experience, in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable discipline

Strong technical understanding

Ideally, knowledge of electronic components and IPC standards

Knowledge of CAD data processing

Basic REFA knowledge

Experience working with material databases

Advanced English language skills

Strong PC application and IT software skills
