A leading automotive technology company in Wuppertal seeks an experienced professional to lead the EDS Adjacent Market, ensuring growth through analysis and collaboration. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Engineering, has over 5 years of experience in the electrical sector, and possesses proven strategy development skills. This role offers a flexible work environment with a focus on innovation, safety, and personal growth, catering to both individual and community needs. Travel up to 50% may be required.
Leading, managing and developing the EDS Adjacent Market according to business needs (advanced work to secure new projects)
Ensuring further growth by analyzing the needs of the EDS organization and communicating with management, EDS Core and Execution teams
Securing tools to implement research and development projects (in relation to Adjacent Market) according to current standards
Exploring opportunities to improve collaboration with customers and other departmental EDS organizations to achieve synergy effects
Leading the “Request For Quotation/Information”, the advanced work and delivering the technical inputs on time and on quality
Collaborating with suppliers and driving vertical integration
Supporting the handover plan to the execution team and making sure that the project team is fully equipped to deliver the new programs successfully
Investigating and, if necessary, establishing collaborations with external organizations (e.g. external service providers, universities)
Preparing, controlling and reporting on the budget for the assigned organization
Performing assigned tasks on time
Creating products according to customer requirements and procedures
Maintaining communication with external and internal customers
Performing assigned tasks in accordance with EDS quality management system
Reporting progress and support required to the Line and Dotted-line Manager
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent and 5+ years in the Electrical sector in a technical and commercial function
Understanding of Costumer Culture ideally in the Automotive Electrical Sector
Proven Strategy Development Skills
Self-motivated, target/result driven
Languages: fluent English (speaking and writing) and ideally good German (speaking and writing)
