We are looking for a Product Designer (m/f/x) to join our Design Team in Berlin. You will be the design partner for one of our product teams, working alongside a Product Manager and engineers to take work from an early idea through to something people use. You will own your projects, hold a high quality bar on complex, data-rich interfaces, and work inside a design system you help keep healthy.

You will enjoy this role if you want real ownership of a product area without carrying a whole platform, and if you like going deep into a genuinely complex domain. Our team is complementary, so your work is visible and the feedback loop is short.

What you will do:

• Take design work from an early idea through to delivery, proposing solutions to blockers rather than only reporting them.
• Be the reliable design partner for your product team: the person your PM and engineers come to first.
• Design for complexity: dense data tables, long-running processes, and workflows where the edge cases matter as much as the main path.
• Look for evidence before you design: talk to users, read what support and sales already know, look at how the product is actually used, and run tests on your own work.
• Push to understand the problem before designing a solution, and say so when a brief arrives already shaped as one.
• Scope your own features, break them into pieces, be roughly right about how long they will take, and flag delays early with a plan B rather than a warning.
• Contribute to our design system, as everyone on our team does: propose and build components, not only use them.
• Share your work cross-functionally, take feedback, and iterate; notice improvements inside your area and act on them, instead of waiting to be asked.

Here is a good summary of what we are looking for:

• Experience delivering product design work end-to-end inside a cross-functional team.
• Solid interaction (IxD) and visual/UI design skills, with the ability to make complex data and workflows understandable.
• Strong Figma skills, and a working understanding of how a design system is actually built: how a component is structured, how it behaves, and the rules it has to respect. You will be a contributor to ours, not only a user of it.
• Experience using research and product evidence to make design decisions: usability tests, customer conversations, support tickets, product data. We are not looking for one particular method.
• Comfortable telling the difference between what we know and what we are assuming, and willing to say which is which.
• Comfortable with ambiguity: able to make progress when the picture is still incomplete, and to adjust when what you learn changes the direction.
• Able to scope your own work and communicate honestly about time, collaborative, feedback-driven, and proactive about the problems you can see.
• Fluent in English and based in Berlin with hybrid work capability.

Bonus points if you bring:

• Experience designing geospatial, enterprise, or data-heavy B2B products.
• Background in UX research, data visualization, or complex workflow design.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design.
• Experience with interactive prototyping.
• Awareness of current AI tools and emerging opportunities in UX processes, with an understanding of how AI can enhance user outcomes without adding unnecessary complexity.
