Zusammenfassung

uxbri.org is seeking a product designer to establish the first dedicated design function for a self-serve cloud platform built for AI, ML, and compute-heavy workloads. You will own end-to-end UX for onboarding, GPU selection, funding, and Kubernetes workflows, working directly with the Product Lead.

You should be comfortable with ambiguity, translate partially specified requirements into shipped design, map user journeys from feedback, and drive design work from discovery through to release,

The role involves owning end-to-end UX for technical journeys including onboarding, GPU selection, funding, and Kubernetes workflows, working directly with the Product Lead rather than within a large existing design team. It suits someone comfortable with ambiguity who can translate partially-specified requirements into shipped design.

Responsibilities

• Own UX and interaction design across core platform journeys, including onboarding, account activation, GPU selection, funding, and Kubernetes workflows
• Translate raw technical requirements from the Product Lead into clear workflows without relying on fully-scoped briefs
• Research and map user journeys independently using customer feedback and external reviews to identify where the experience is falling short
• Drive design work end-to-end, from discovery and research through to shipped design
• Build the platform's first product design function from the ground up, with influence over product strategy

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience shipping UX and interaction design work for technical, infrastructure, or developer-facing products
• Proven ability to work directly from a Product Lead's input and produce workflows without a large design team or heavy process
• Independent research capability, including mapping user journeys rather than only executing against pre-defined briefs
• Comfort with ambiguity and a flat reporting structure, self-directing rather than waiting for detailed specs

Nice to have

• Product design experience at a cloud, infrastructure, or developer-tooling company
• Background owning complex B2B onboarding or activation flows
• Experience operating as a design function of one, or close to it
