Urban Sports Club invites a Product Design Intern to contribute to the design system, working closely with experienced designers, engineers and product managers to maintain components and documentation. You will help ensure visual consistency across web and mobile while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will build wireframes, UI specs, and Figma prototypes, expand design tokens, and support accessibility and usability best practices.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or holding a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or Graphic Design.
• Strong portfolio showing UX design process, visual design, and design system fundamentals.
• Proficient in Figma with components, auto-layout, and variants.

As a Product Design Intern supporting the Urban Sports Club design system, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the foundation of our user experiences. Working closely with experienced product designers, engineers, and product managers, you will support the maintenance and evolution of our design system components and documentation. You will help ensure visual and functional consistency across our digital products while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. What you will do

• You contribute to the creation, maintenance, and comprehensive documentation of scalable UI components across web and mobile platforms
• You assist in auditing legacy UI patterns and refining components in alignment with user feedback, accessibility standards, and usability best practices
• You collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and cross‑functional design partners to ensure seamless system integration
• You produce clear wireframes, detailed UI specifications, and interactive Figma prototypes to communicate design updates and component behaviours
• You aid in structuring and expanding Figma component libraries, design token frameworks, and documentation standards
• You demonstrate strong organisational skills in maintaining design system assets for long‑term scalability and cross‑team adoption
• You can commit to a 12‑week, full‑time hybrid work engagement at our office location

What you will need to succeed

• You hold or are currently pursuing a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
• You showcase a strong portfolio of coursework reflecting a solid UX design process, refined visual design skills, and foundational design system principles
• You demonstrate core UI craftsmanship and intuitive interaction logic, with a clear understanding of component states, user flows, and general usability standards
• You exhibit proficiency in Figma—including components, auto‑layout, and variants—alongside a strong motivation to advance your knowledge of design system architecture
• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively within cross‑functional team environments
• You display high attention to detail, a commitment to visual consistency, and a strong drive for scalable user experience design
