Job summary

SpaceTech GmbH is seeking a Quality Assurance professional for its Solar Array QA team. You will prepare project-specific product assurance documentation and support testing, inspection, and non-conformance activities with engineering and production colleagues.

The role requires a degree in aerospace/physics or related field, 3+ years in the space sector, ECSS awareness, and strong documentation/reporting in English; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics or related field.
• At least 3 years working experience in the space industry.
• Knowledge of ECSS is a plus.
• Experience with product assurance discipline is advantageous.
• Experience with photovoltaic assemblies, materials and process control is a plus.
• Hands-on hardware experience is benefitial.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Solid English language skills written and verbal are required, German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project product assurance documentation tailored to customer requirements.
• Support test and inspection activities with engineering and production teams.
• Assist engineering and production in case of non-conformances; perform root cause analysis and monitor corrective actions.
• Review project- and supplier documentation.
• Provide quality status reporting to customer and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in customer review meetings as product assurance representative.
• Contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement of products and processes.

• Preparation of project product assurance documentation tailored to project specific customer requirements
