The role is highly commercial and client-facing, with autonomy to lead initiatives, manage senior stakeholders and deliver tangible procurement improvements. Equity participation is included.

AI Futures has been exclusively retained to identify a Procurement Specialist for a well-funded, high-growth AI technology company in Berlin.

The business is developing enterprise technology that helps large organisations make better decisions, improve complex commercial processes and take advantage of the latest developments in AI.

They're looking for someone with strong procurement and commercial expertise who wants to move into the technology sector and play a key role in how major organisations adopt new AI capabilities.

The Opportunity

This is a highly commercial and customer-facing position for someone who understands procurement but wants their next career move to take them much closer to AI and technology.

You'll work with large organisations to understand complex commercial challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and help customers successfully introduce new technology into their existing ways of working.

You'll have significant autonomy and exposure to customers, while also working closely with different teams across a fast-growing technology business.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Procurement Consulting.
• Strong understanding of how procurement functions operate within larger organisations.
• Experience working with suppliers, sourcing initiatives, purchasing decisions or procurement transformation.
• Experience within direct procurement, manufacturing, industrial environments or complex supply chains would be particularly valuable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting and working directly with senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
• Comfortable working with data and learning new technology.
• Experience with digital transformation or enterprise technology would be advantageous.
• Genuine interest in AI and emerging technology.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable with significant autonomy.
• Fluent German and English are essential.
